Gilbert L. Bailey II

Gilbert L. Bailey II is a native of San Diego,   and a proud graduate of
the Musical Theatre program at Penn State. WE ARE! A Barrymore Award
winning actor, and writer, Gilbert was must recently seen on Broadway
playing the Quarterback as an Original Broadway Company member in
Beetlejuice: the Musical. Other Broadway credits include the Original
Broadway Company of, A Bronx Tale: the Musical, in which he played the
role of Jesse; and The Book of Mormon at The Eugene O’Neill Theater.
Regionally, Gilbert has been featured in, The Scottsboro Boys
(Philadelphia Theatre Centre, Center Theatre Group); The Book of Mormon
(Jumamosi Tour); How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Wang Theater, Madison
Square Garden); and The Color Purple (Milwaukee Repertory Theatre).
Gilbert is happily married to Jessie Hooker-Bailey and when he’s not
onstage he can generally be found cuddled up at home with her and their
